Drymax(R) Fiber Technology Knit Into Socks Effectively Removes Moisture From Skin, Eliminating Foot Discomfort, Blisters & Odors
Drymax Sports introduces sport specific sock line with the unique Drymax fiber technology. Independent lab tests confirm Drymax socks stay up to 25 times drier than other socks made with wicking fibers like Polyester, Acrylic, Nylon, Wool or Cotton, it was announced today by Gus Blythe, creator and developer of the new line of
Drymax Socks.
Moisture on the skin creates a host of problems; in hot weather it causes blisters and fuels the growth of odor-causing bacteria as well as the uncomfortable fungal skin condition Athlete's Foot. In cold/freezing weather, moisture pulls heat away from skin 23 times faster than air, lowering skin temperature so rapidly that wet feet become painfully cold and much more susceptible to frostbite.
The laws of physics dictate that no single fiber technology can attract and repel moisture at the same time. Other socks use only wicking fibers throughout which attract moisture and hold it next to the skin, keeping feet wet.
We designed Drymax socks with two different fiber technologies interwoven to form a dual-layer sock. On a molecular level, moisture doesn't stick to the inner (super hydrophobic) Drymax fiber terry loops allowing them to squeegee sweat off the skin into the outer (hydrophilic) moisture attracting fiber layer. This advanced design creates a self-contained Moisture Removal System keeping feet dry and comfortable in all types of footwear in cold, hot and even wet conditions.
